Saturday August 23rd 20083pm - 9pmLocated at : Reliant Center (map)Over 14,000 attendees made it out in the hot Texas sun to the Reliant Center for the Houston stop of the record breaking 2008 DUB Show Tour! The main attractions are the one of a kind custom cars you can only find at the DUB shows, and Houston was no exception - ranging from tricked out sport compacts to over $6 Million worth of customized luxury and exotic rides. The show's sponsors went all out with huge interactive displays including Monster's expansive Lounge area where you could sample Monster beverages. Xbox® 360's gaming arcade had the latest titles to demo on their HD gaming terminals. MLB Authentic Collection brought out the MLB Experience where you could test your pitching skills and play the hottest MLB video games. Bud Light's display featured their interactive DUB cover photography and their beautiful BUD Light models! Pirelli hosted many celebrity signing sessions, and the TIS & Dropstars wheels displays featured the latest wheel models on some amazing hooked up out machines. The D20 wheels display featured the latest wheel collection exclusively available through GM dealerships. Hyundai had their new luxury flagship sedan, the Genesis, on display and customized by DUB Magazine. The main stage was a star studded affair featuring hip hop's current chart toppers including Ludacris, Paul Wall, Willy Northpole, 2 Pistols, Shawty Lo, Webbie, Trae, Fat Pimp, TMI Boyz, Youngzta, and Holly Rae! The concert performers spent hours with their fans signing autographs at the sponsor displays. There was also a special guest appearance by hip hop star Chamilionaire! Supermodel Vida Guerra was also signing autographs at the man sponsor booths. Other celebrity guests included famous jeweler TV Johnny and NBA star Maurice Taylor.
