The Monster Energy 2009 DUB Show Tour made its way to Phoenix, AZ on Saturday, June 13, 2009, and was welcomed by not only the desert sun, but thousands of automotive fans, who packed the Phoenix Convention Center excited to experience all that the show had to offer. The Phoenix stop was jam-packed with hundreds of highly customized vehicles and bikes, tons of interactive displays and booths and, of course, an all-star stage, featuring the biggest names in hip-hop!

Special to our Phoenix stop was a guest appearance by skateboarding extraordinaire, P-Rod, who was available for autographs and pictures for fans throughout the show. Visitors also got a chance to check out Shaq’s customized Busa that sports a 14-inch tail section stretch and made into a one-seater by Signature Streetbike Concept. The special DUB Edition 2010 Ford Taurus SHO was also on display at the TIS and Dropstars Wheels booth, which isn’t available for purchase until later this year, but many got a chance to check it out before it hits dealerships. Everybody couldn’t stop talking about Galpin Auto Sports’ collabo with the United States Air Force, as they featured two of the sickest cars in the show: the white Ford Mustang 'X-1' and black Dodge Challenger 'VAPOR.'

Phoenix had the sickest lowriders on display for our special Tribute to Lowriding, as many of the area’s notable clubs brought out their best old school lowriders. Car clubs that rolled through included: Groupe, Spirit, Nokturnal, Swift, Kyoei USA, Street Kings, Maxium Power and the Majestics. Uniq Motorsports took home our Best Booth award and was a crowd favorite! It seemed like every car practically had a Uniq Sticker on it!

Ice Cube KILLED the concert stage, as he represented for the West Coast and performed tons of his classic bangers plus a few from his latest album. Other performers, such as Big Mav, Swag with Juvenile, 2 Pistols, and Phoenix’s very own Willy Nothpole, had fans jumping and dancing along to their latest hits, making for one hell of a concert!

Phoenix showed a lot of love and we’d like to thank all our sponsors and fans that came out to the show! Special thanks to all of our sponsors for making the 2009 Tour possible: Monster Energy, Rockstar Games’ Midnight Club Los Angeles, Pirelli Tires, Tag, Xbox 360, NASCAR, 2K Sports, Mobil 1, Kawasaki, TIS, Dropstars and D20 and Pioneer.
